Findlay Street After School Program

Findlay Street Neighborhood House has historically served as a Safe Haven in the West End where youth can engage in positive activities. Computer Training, Teen Center and the Gym are open daily giving youth opportunities to engage in activities with the support of carrying adults. Our current after school program has 40 youth ranging from the ages of 6 to 16. These students have the opportunity to receive homework assistance and tutoring. The youth receive lessons in health and nutrition. They have use of our computer lab to develop their computer skills and to complete homework assignments. These youth receive a snack and dinner (provided by Kid’s Café). A librarian from the Cincinnati Public Library comes to the center to hold a weekly reading program.
